I am attorney Law Offices of Lisa Standish, and I have been practicing family law in Pittsburgh since 1998. My firm, the Lisa Standish, was established with the goal of guiding people through one of the most difficult life events. As a Pennsylvania lawyer, I am committed to educating and empowering my clients by helping them uncover the facts involved in their cases as I give them the information they need to make educated choices about their futures.
Outside of my office, I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and yoga and Pilates instructor. The lessons I have learned in each of these roles shape the way that I practice law. Change is not an easy process for anyone. I enjoy helping clients find and maintain a positive outlook, I use many of the principles that make up yoga and Pilates practices in my legal profession. Blending these two fields gives me the opportunity to be both sensitive and straightforward with my clients. As a mother and a wife, I understand how important families can be. I believe my clients deserve respect and understanding as they navigate their family law or collaborative law needs and transformation.
I am also involved in the Women’s Center & Shelter, Neighborhood Legal Services and the YMCA. To learn more about my legal background, follow the link below.
